POSITION: Requirement Management Engineer (Railway Domain)

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science / related engineering field
Role Overview
We are looking for a Requirement & Configuration Management Engineer to support requirement lifecycle activities and ensure proper configuration control of project artifacts in compliance with railway standards and quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in capturing, documenting, and managing system and software requirements
- Maintain requirement traceability across lifecycle (Requirement → Design → Test → Validation)
- Support preparation and maintenance of requirement documents (SRS, interface documents, etc.)
- Perform requirement reviews for clarity, completeness, and consistency
- Support change management and impact analysis for requirement updates
- Maintain and control configuration items including documents, baselines, and versions
- Ensure proper version control and configuration status accounting
- Support configuration audits and compliance activities
- Collaborate with system, software, safety, and V&V teams for requirement and configuration alignment
- Ensure documentation complies with applicable standards and project procedures
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of requirement engineering and management
- Basic understanding of configuration management principles
- Familiarity with requirement management tools (e.g., DOORS, Excel, or similar)
- Knowledge of configuration/version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN, or similar)
- Understanding of traceability, baselining, and change control concepts
- Familiarity with railway standards such as EN 50128 (preferred)
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong documentation and analytical skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
Preferred
- Exposure to requirement or configuration management activities through internship or academic projects
- Basic awareness of EN 50126 / EN 50129
- Exposure to document control or quality processes
