Roles Overview:
We are looking for a Signalling Testing Engineer to support testing and validation activities for railway signalling systems. The role involves assisting in factory and site testing, ensuring system functionality, safety, and compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support testing of railway signalling systems during factory and site stages
- Assist in CFAT (Customer Factory Acceptance Testing) and IFAT (Integrated Factory Acceptance Testing) activities
- Identify, report, and track defects during testing
- Support validation of signalling logic and data
- Assist in preparation of test procedures, test reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with design, installation, and commissioning teams
- Ensure compliance with applicable railway standards and procedures
Skills & competencies
- Basic understanding of railway signalling principles
- Familiarity with CFAT / IFAT testing processes
- Basic knowledge of RDSO guidelines and standards
- Understanding of signalling data design concepts
- Ability to read and interpret signalling documents/drawings
- Basic knowledge of testing methodologies
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork
Preferred
- Internship or project experience in railway signalling
- Exposure to testing or commissioning activities
- Basic understanding of interlocking or signalling systems
